Adaptive Costumes
Costumes are pretty much the best... though we do have to admit that sometimes they can feel a little "costumey." They can be tough to wear or might be made of fabrics that don't have a lot of give or get pretty warm. While it normally isn't too tough to shed a layer or adjust, that isn't always as equally easy for all!
Fortunately, there are great options in our Adaptive Costume collection. The universal costumes are designed with features that emphasize comfort and easy access. Ditch the metal snaps so little fingers don't have to struggle and trade in regular zippers for hook and loop strips or large pull tabs instead!
For kids with additional medical needs, adaptive costumes often include extra openings along the seams of the legs, arms, and back. This allows the costumes to fit easily over walkers and even include hidden pocket access to medical equipment, too! For tykes in wheelchairs, the rear closures allow parents to help don or doff the outfits with minimal effort, too!
Extra linings in our inclusive costumes make them an easier experience for those with sensory sensitivities, too. Suddenly itchy stitches are hidden under more comfortable layers, allowing everyone to simply enjoy the character they're presenting so all the focus can be on the fun.
