Hey, you! Yes, you. Do you think you could maybe help us out a little? You see we've got this real big shin-dig coming up and we're a little confused and don't know what to do. It's a work thing. A themed party? Yeah, costumes, music, the whole she-bang. We're usually pretty enthusiastic about this kind of thing, but we've never been to one like this before. It's something called a sock hop? Any idea what that means? Like we're pretty sure it's related to the fifties. We've seen a lot of co-workers with big fluffy skirts with poodles, a whole lot of neck scarves, and boys greasing their hair back.

We can get on-board with that. We're just still a bit confused about the whole sock-hop part. Are we supposed to wear socks? Is there hopping? Oh. You don't know either? Oh well. Hey, don't worry about it. There's no way we're going to let a little something like a confusing name keep us from enjoying this party.  And we appreciate your help. Hey, maybe you should come along too!

But remember, you've got to be dressed accordingly. Something like this Sock Hop Cutie Costume. It's a single dress styled to look like a pink blouse and black polka-dotted skirt. There are big pink music notes on the skirt and the shirt has a notched collar and cute little cuffed sleeves. There's even a black belt sewed in and a satin ribbon around the waist. It comes with a matching dotted scarf. Dress up with this and you'll be hip like wow! (Did we say that right?)

Alright, so we've got our costumes lined-up and we're ready to twist like there's no tomorrow! Only, we still have no idea if we're actually supposed to bring socks or not. Bah! Better bring them, just in case.
