Always Accessorize
Everyone knows that a good pair of shoes makes an outfit complete. A pirate can't be taken seriously in flip flops. A princess will not seem royal in running shoes. But the perfection of a good outfit doesn't simply stop at the footwear. No, we need good accessories as well.
That's right. Even if you have the right footwear, your outfit may be incomplete without that one small detail. Where would Robin Hood be without his hat? A mere forester of course. A famous mouse without his gloves would be a travesty indeed. Which is why, if you're going gangster, you're going to need yourself a good pair of spats.
Fun Details
"Spats?" you say, "What are these spats?" Well, allow us to share. Spats are some fancy little shoe covers that helped cover a shoe from dirt and rain, but also provided a sense of style to any ensemble, which is exactly what our White Gangster Shoe Spats accomplish. Our white spats are made from felt and attach to the shoe with an elastic strap. They secure with Hook and Loop fastener and have silver studs to decorate the sides. They're perfect for any costume from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Spat That Shoe
So, if you've got your costume all together, whether Victorian or gangster, and feel like something is missing, check those accessories. Is your headwear correct? What about jewelry? And, of course, do you have a good pair of spats? That one small accessory can take your costume to the next level. Trust us. Costuming is our job, after all.
