ONCE A DELICATE DAMSEL
Right from the beginning of Toy Story, Bo Peep was treated like a fair maiden that needed to be rescued by Woody. Of course, Andy didn't really know what kind of character he was playing with at the time! Content to look like the damsel in distress during play time, we all got to see that Bo Peep was a no-nonsense gal who was strong enough to make Woody do the right thing! Unfortunately, we didn't get to see much of her during Toy Story 3.
Turns out that the writers were a bit worried that with all the hustle and bustle, a porcelain toy like Bo Peep wouldn't have gotten very far! They didn't want to have to explain how a delicate character like Peep wouldn't have shattered throughout the movie and they definitely didn't want to actually follow through with something like that! So, even worse, we never got to see what happened to our favorite Peep. That is, of course, until Toy Story 4 would bring her back and show everyone that this porcelain Peep was basically made of steel!
