A Wonderful, Awful Idea
For the Grinch, dressing up as Santa really was both a wonderful and awful idea. It gave him the perfect cover to steal Christmas, and probably helped keep him warm when he was sleighing down Mt. Crumpet. However, we always wonder what would have happened if he had run into the real Santa. Or, if Cindy Lou Who had been older than two, would she have realized that he was a fake? We also have to think that it’s a little funny to dress as the icon of the holiday you’re trying to ruin. The Grinch might have taken a risk, but it sure paid off! He got away with everything (literally), but we’re sure glad he had a change of heart.
