A PIRATE ON HALLOWEEN
This pirate costume has us thinking... What would a real pirate, from back in the day, be like to have around for Halloween? we imagine the whole scenario would be pretty hard for him to wrap his head around. After all, pirates are used to taking whatever they want, but on Halloween, people just give you candy, no threats or stealing necessary.
We can picture a pirate just showing up on someone's front step, ready to steal whatever he can. But then, an elderly lady opens the front door, says "My, what a lovely costume you have there dear." And stuffs three lemon heads into his front pocket before closing the door in the pirates face. The pirate would have every reason to be confused. He might even walk away thinking "Am I not scary or threatening anymore? Have I lost my touch? I don't even like lemon heads." All in all, we imagine Halloween would not be a good time for a pirate.
