The cars are to big to actually pass each other on the track. That is if you get them to connect long enough as the connection is weak and when the cars do go they fly off the track. The plastic is very brittle so when you try to reconfigure the track no matter how gently you pull it WILL break.
Save your money otherwise you will be disappointed.

Every now and then we can get the cars to go around a few laps but then they fly off. The concept is great but in reality is a bit of a letdown.Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
