Voice of Reason
If you think about it, some of Chuckie's fears make perfectly good sense! Losing your glasses turns everyday life into a scary mystery. Germs are gross – and they’re everywhere! Almost everyone these days agrees that clowns are terrifying. And as for cats – well, it’s no secret that those fuzzy felines are planning to take over the world.
Poor Chuckie. It’s got to be difficult being afraid of everything! Always the Rugrats’ voice of reason and caution, Chuckie sometimes can’t help wondering if their wild schemes will have consequences. He’s usually right, but that doesn't stop him from following them into their shenanigans! That's what makes Chuckie a real hero, though, because, despite his pessimism, he knows that adventure and friendship are really what make life worthwhile, regardless of the consequences.
