Dodgy Dealings
One thing we’ve learned from multiple stories is that magic itself isn’t necessarily good or bad; it all depends on the wielder. Fairies usually use magic for good, but when evil people get their hands on it, it can cause plenty of problems. The fact that Disney’s Dr. Facilier is also called the Shadow Man should give you a hint as to how he uses his powers!
While we’re not sure that using his power to trick wandering princes to win his way to riches, we have to admit… we’re kind of green with envy about his suave style, too!
Fun Details
This Plus Size Dr. Facilier Costume from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog was designed and Made By Us so you can step into the Shadow Man’s shoes. The purple jacket and pants are made from soft velvet, and the complementary vest has an intricate design printed on it.
The spats and necklace add some authentic detail along with the red satin cummerbund. The crowning piece of the ensemble is the hat, which features a skull print, a purple feather, and a red sash that matches the cummerbund. You’ll feel just as powerful as the Shadow Man in this detailed outfit, but please be wary about how you use your magic!
