He was Captain Smollett in Muppet Treasure Island. He was even Jesus in Muppet Christ Superstar!
Not only has he pulled off all these roles better than some of the originals, but he has maintained his quiet dignity at the same time. Truly, Kermit the Frog is the best and noblest actor still working today. Now if he would just play Mr. Darcy in Muppet Pride and Prejudice we could all be happy!
