We'll share a few free Read Across America resources below, along with ways to make reading events more engaging for kids and teachers. Read Across America Free Resources
When hosting Read Across America events in your classroom, we suggest that you go directly to the source by visiting the National Education Association's list of free classroom resources! They have multiple resources for free or low-cost books, online books, even audiobooks and video read-alouds. You can also sign up for the NEA's monthly email for even more resources!
TeachersFirst Teacher Resources
For teaching resources of all kinds and year-round classroom activities, go to TeachersFirst. There are a variety of paid and free classroom materials available for teachers. You can also search by school subject for more help around the classroom. We love their Classroom Planning Calendar, which can keep you informed about upcoming events!
