Gladiator 4 Life
Who says gladiators have to be boys? Not your little girl, that's for sure! She's been studying ancient Rome for months, in school and out, and she's a bit obsessed. The ferocity, the skill, the bravery, the strength—she wants to be a gladiator! Of course, you're not thrilled with her current career choice, you'd prefer she becomes a vet, if she loves the idea of working with lions so much; but still, you support her, and that's what matters.
If you want our opinion, it's probably just a phase. Chances are good she'll grow out of it before she's ready to enter the Colosseum for the first time. But maybe getting her this Fearless Gladiator Costume for Girls will give her the sensation she's after! It's totally authentic looking and she'll feel fierce from within its ancient styling. This could be a nice half-way point between her desire to gladiate full time, and your desire to—you know—not watch her battle a lion.
Fun Details
This straight-outta-Rome garb is comprised of a pullover dress with a faux suede skirt overlay. She gets a cape, which attaches to the shoulders, and wrist cuffs that slide on (and make her look like a boss in battle!). Official-looking medallions and a gold braid headband help her look the part to perfection. You can pick her up a toy sword and shield for practice and she'll definitely be ecstatic (not to mention exhausted—swordwork is actually quite challenging and tiring).
Onward Toward the Future
We know this wasn't your plan for your gal, but you must admit, it's pretty cool seeing her building strength and agility and cultivating courage. As we said, this phase will likely pass, plus there really aren't too many real jobs for gladiators anymore. So just encourage her bravery and brawn and help her come up with a cool gladiator name! She'll thank you for it later.
