Have you ever wondered how Christmas elves deal with going from Santa's workshop to the wild Tundra of the North Pole? It would be tricky to design a shoe that cheerful and breathable while remaining warm enough for even a couple of seconds of Arctic wind. We're thinking that elves wear curved shoes for this very reason.
Okay, so we gave in and looked it up! Turns out that people in the fourteenth century used to wear long-toed or curly-toed shoes stuffed with moss for warmth. Sounds like some handy shoes for the North Pole, right? See, we were kind of on track.
These shoes will let you live out those North Pole daydreams. Make cookies while wearing the bright green felt shoes with pompoms around the red cuff and on the curved tips. Pair them with our adorable elf outfits or a striped tight and you'll be able to smell the peppermint before you even start whipping up those cookies!
