The first one we received had a strap issue, where it came apart/unraveled at the sight of sewing/attachment to the backpack right away upon picking it up/putting it on (photo shown attached). I called to get a replacement backpack. The second one looked better at first, and the straps didn't fall apart/unravel right away ... HOWEVER, while my son was wearing it and running (no pulling on the backpack, nothing but sitting on his back) from house to house during trick-or-treating the straps (yet again!) came unraveled/detached at multiple spots this time rendering the backpack unusable for the rest of the night (he was only out for about 30 mins when it started to fall apart). There's definitely something cheap/wrong with the strap material they use for this product because it comes apart VERY easily! Now, we have unusable part of his costume, unless I go through and unstitch and resew everything. Considering this was $35, it was NOT worth it for 30 mins of use and the quality of the materials and construction.Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
