So you are sitting around with your friends and want to play a drinking game. No one has any ideas, and it seems like the night is bound to stay lame and game free. Problem solved! Here is a list of some of the best drinking games to play with your friends.
1. Beer Pong
It's a given. Beer pong, the game all college students come to know and love sometime within their four years of school, must be on this list. It is always played with cheap beer such as Keystone or Coors, don't ever waste the good beer on this game unless you have a ton of money to spend. All you need are 22 red plastic cups (10 for each side and a cup of water to rinse off the ping pong balls), 2 ping pong balls, and some sort of table. The goal is to get rid of the opposing teams cups by landing your ball in their cups. They then must remove and drink the cups of beer you landed the balls in. Sounds easy, but can provide endless entertainment. Rules can vary from house to house, but if you are a beginner, check out http://www.bpong.com/wsobp/official-rules-of-the-world-series-of-beer-pong for some of the official rules used in the World Series of Beer Pong (yes it does exist).
2. Flip Cup
No supplies needed other than plastic cups full of beer and a table with two available sides. Teams line up on either side, and the game starts at one end. Once the signal is given, the first person downs the beer in their cup, then puts it top side down on he table with about an inch hanging off the edge. The goal is to flip the cup over in one hit so it dos a 360 degree rotation, landing with the top down on the table again. After that is accomplished, the next person goes. It goes down the line until one team wins, at which point he same teams can go again, one team can change out for another, or certain players can get traded out. The game is great fun and quite a bit of screaming and yelling can occur, especially as the night wears on.
3. Flip, Sip, or Strip
One last game, for only the most risky of players, is called Flip, Sip, or Strip. For this game, the more people, the better! The rules are straightforward: flip a coin and call heads or tails. If you guess right, give the person to your right the coin. If you guess wrong, pass the coin to your left and either take one article of clothing off or drink a shot of alcohol. Any paired up clothing items (such as socks) count as one item and must be taken off together. The only catch in this game? You can't do sip or strip more than twice in a row, so you'd better guess right!
